Discovery Link Registration
Registration for the 2022-2023 School Year opened April 18th at 6am for all families on a first come, first served basis. For more information, please go to: https://equity.dpsk12.org/extended-learning/
Opt-In for 22-23 Transportation
The Opt-In Program for the 2022-23 school year will go live April 15 and close June 30. Families of eligible students will need to log into Parent Portal and opt in if they require DPS transportation services. The Opt-In Program helps the Transportation Team properly allocate resources and make plans for students who intend to ride the bus. Gathering this data early will ensure more timely and efficient transportation at the start of the school year.
– If families do not opt-in by June 30, we will plan our bus routes without their student. This doesn’t change their student’s eligibility, but it could cause a delay in service.

Create a Parent Portal Account
You must have a Parent Portal account to register online. If you need to open a Parent Portal account so you can do online registration, as well as have access to other important information about your student,
– Go to myportal.dpsk12.org and click on ‘Create an Account’.
– You will need your student’s DPS ID# to start your account.
– You can call Edison’s office at 720-424-7780 or email Michelle Miller in the office at michelle_miller@dpsk12.org, or Barbara Schrant at maria_schrant@dpsk12.org, to get your student’s ID#.

– If you have any other trouble logging in (you must log in at least once every six months to keep your account active), you can ask for help by emailing portalteam@dpsk12.org or calling the portal hotline at 720.423.3163.
– Only the parents in the primary household can do registration.

Complete On-line Registration
Online Registration for the 2022-2023 school year will open no later than August 1 (possibly sooner, watch for updates). All families, new and returning, must do registration every year before the new school year starts. You must have a Parent Portal account because guardians register student online through Parent Portal.
Sign up for MySchoolBucks
We encourage parents to sign up for https://www.myschoolbucks.com through the Parent Portal. This will give parents the ability to pay for school lunches, field trips and school fees on-line with a credit card.
Sign up for Free/Reduced Lunch
All families are strongly encouraged to complete a Meal Benefits Application online. You can do this through https://www.myschoolapps.com/Application.
** Please note, DPS will NOT be providing free lunch to every student for the 2022-23 school year, only those approved for Free/Reduced lunch will have this option.
** Caregivers can put money on student lunch accounts through MySchoolBucks
** Breakfast if free daily from 8:00-8:25 for all Edison students.
