A final message from Sally Whitelock, Retiring Principal 

Edison Community,

Another wonderful year of learning and growing is in the books at Edison. As I reflect back on this school year, I am so very proud of our Edison students for all of their hard work and the learning growth they have made. It is my hope that everyone takes the summer to relax and rejuvenate, so that they are ready to come back to school in August excited for new learning experiences.

As I reflect on this milestone moment for myself, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible journey we've shared together. This community has been the heart of everything I do, and as I step into this new chapter of retirement, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Thank you for your unwavering support, your trust, and your partnership in our shared mission. Whether through volunteering, attending events, offering kind words, or simply believing in what we do together—you have made all the difference. This past year, in particular, has been filled with meaningful moments and accomplishments that simply would not have been possible without you. The relationships I've built, the memories we've created, and the impact we've made as a community will stay with me always. I am deeply proud of what we've accomplished together and excited about the bright future ahead for this wonderful community.

Thank you for 16 beautiful years. It has been an absolute honor to serve alongside you.

A welcome message from Benita Cervantes, Incoming Principal 

Hello Edison Community,

I am absolutely thrilled to be back at Edison!  I have learned so much in my time away but Edison has always felt like home.  Sally has spent the last 16 years partnering with you all in creating a community filled with trust, joy and a clear focus on quality academic experiences for kids.  It is an honor to be entrusted with continuing that work and carrying on Sally’s legacy.

It has been a pleasure meeting so many of you at school events and I look forward to continuing to get to know you and your children.  As we look towards next year I am filled with excitement and purpose focused on supporting our scholars, our staff and our community. 

I wish you all a safe, restful and fun-filled summer!
