• 1st grade classrooms will be walking to the Argyle Retirement Home as part of their community service project this week - Monday: Anderson’s class, Wednesday: Arey’s class, Thursday: Alvarez’s class, Friday: Singh’s class

• ECE Walking Field trips: Senft: Wednesday, April 15, Brown: Thursday, April 16

• April 30  - New Family Information Night at 5:30 PM - for families new to Edison

• May 1 - Planning day, no school for students

• May 6-8 - Scholastic Book Fair in Edison’s auditorium: Open before & after school and during the day on May 8.

• May 8 - Field Day for K-5 (rain date: May 21)

  • 8:45-10:45 AM - Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 4th grade

  • 1:20-3:20 PM - 1st grade, 3rd grade, 5th grade

  • PTA will have a concession booth for food and an Edison swag tent – bring $ if you wish to purchase anything.

• May 11-15 - Last week of after-school Enrichment

• May 12 - 3rd grade field trip to Skate City

• May 14 - Meet the new principal, Benita Cervantes, before school (7:45-8:30 AM) or after school (3:30-4:30 PM) in Edison’s auditorium

• May 15 - ECE Field Day 

• May 15 - 5th grade music performance

• May 18-22 - Enrichment makeup classes only

• May 22 - Talent Show

• May 22 - Kindergarten end of year picnic on Edison’s field at 1:30

• May 25 - Memorial Day - no school

• May 26 - 1st grade field trip - Children’s Museum

• May 27 - Kdg field trip to Denver Museum of Nature and Science

• May 28 - ECE Continuation in Edison amphitheater at 9:30

• May 28 - Kdg Continuation in Edison amphitheater at 1:30

• May 28 - 5th grade Continuation at Skinner Middle School 6:00

• May 29 - Last day of school, dismissal for all at 12:00 (Students will have lunch at school)
