New Edison/DPS Information

BESS Survey - Addressing the mental health, behavioral and social emotional needs of our students is critical to ensuring their well-being and healthy development, as well as their access to safe and welcoming schools. Therefore, Denver Public Schools uses the BESS to screen all students for social emotional and behavioral risk. The screening results support data-driven decision making in order to meet students’ needs as appropriately as possible. We would greatly appreciate if all parents could complete the BESS survey on their child(ren) prior to Spring Break. Thank you.

Spring Food Drive: March 16–20 - Please help us help our community!

  • Why: Help Bienvenidos support our community during an overlooked season!

  • Where: Look for us at morning drop-off or use the bin across from the main office.

  • What: Canned goods, pasta, peanut butter, and other non-perishables.

Edison/DPS Reminders

Giveback nights: Dine at Nana’s Dim Sum & Dumplings on Tuesdays March 10, 17, and 24, and 20% of your check (including alcohol) will support Edison. Dine in and mention Edison, or order takeout through Nana’s website using code SCHOOL20 (not valid on third-party apps).

Examples from the past include: pilots, meteorology, marching band, forensic science, yoga, beekeeper, tap dancing, etc.!
