As you may be aware, we have been using a variety of measures to ensure our school stays open and our students feel comfortable during extremely hot days. Our number one priority is the safety and well-being of students and staff.
I am writing to let you know that we will have an early-release Heat Day tomorrow, Wednesday, August 23, 2023. We will get out of school at 1:00.
I understand this is short notice, an inconvenience for many of our families, and that childcare may be an issue for some. All students will have lunch at school before we dismiss. I am available to answer questions you may have regarding the early-release Heat Day.
As always, thank you for your continued support of our school, and I very much appreciate your patience as we successfully navigate through the first weeks of the school year.
