North’s homecoming parade – Today, October 1
Come ride your bikes or scooters in the North Homecoming Parade and show off your Edison Pride!
* 4:15 meet at 33rd and Perry to set up
* 4:30 make our way to 32nd to line up for the parade
* 5:30 parade starts and will go down 32nd Ave to North High School
Decorate your bike, scooter, and yourself in Edison Pride and fun!
Eagle Run and Direct Ask fundraiser
Our annual Eagle Run was a huge success and SO MUCH FUN! This year the Eagle Run is raising money to grant to the school for paras (assistants to 1-5th grade teachers) for next year. Our goal is to raise $80,000! If each student donated $150 we would reach our goal, but every dollar counts no matter the size! Help us continue supporting our students and teachers at Edison for next year.

Testing for HGT/GT program
In DPS all kindergarten and 2nd grade students are tested for possible gifted programming. If you have a 1st or 3rd-5th grade student who you would like to be tested for HGT programming, please submit an application at: https://studentequity.dpsk12.org/gifted-talented/ The deadline to apply is Oct. 15 and testing will occur in Nov.
