– families walking to/from school
– not parking in crosswalks, driveways, alleyways or school parking lot
– driving SLOWLY!
North HS Homecoming Parade
Come join us in the North HS Homecoming Parade Friday, September 23, 2022! We’ll meet at the corner of Perry and 32nd, NE corner at 4:00 p.m. to decorate bikes and get ready for the fun to begin! We will have some treats to be tossed out to the crowd. Wear your Edison best and support the community! We look forward to seeing you there and showing our Eagles pride!
Coming Soon – Eagle Run
Mark your calendar for Edison’s 7th annual Eagle Run run-a-thon fundraiser to take place during school on September 23rd. This exciting fundraiser will focus on team-building, health, fitness and reaching personal goals. All Edison students are encouraged to participate, set-goals, cheer-on their classmates and run as many 1/8 mile laps as they can during the run. Students are also encouraged to get as many pledges as they can to help us all reach our goals! Our goal this year is to raise $80,000. Pledge sheets will be sent home next week in Thursday folders. Encourage your student to collect pledges, set a goal, run…and HAVE FUN!
Community Information
Girls Inc. of Metro Denver is currently enrolling girls in 1st – 8th grades for after-school programming. Fees are income-based sliding scale. Programs are Monday – Friday 3:00-6:30pm. Afterschool Enrichment update:
At Edison, we feel honored to be able to provide after school enrichment classes to students who attend our school. We know that sign up for these classes has been a struggle for many families. Please know that we are evaluating our systems (signing up, sharing descriptions of offerings, number of classes, etc) while also balancing the many requirements of a school (cleaning of classrooms & the school, providing teachers amble time to work in their classrooms, paperwork, etc). We will continue to work to create the best system possible within our limitations so that our students continue to have the opportunity to participate in enrichment classes. Thank you for understanding and your support.
