The Edison school day is 8:30-3:25.
School lunch menus can be found at: www.schoolcafe.com/dps. Then you can log in as a guest or create an account.
Prior to school starting, please complete the following:
Online Registration: All guardians for new and returning students need to complete the online registration for each of their students for the 2022-2023 school year online BY AUGUST 12. You must have a Parent Portal account to register online.
* If you need to open a Parent Portal account, go to myportal.dpsk12.org and click on ‘Create an Account’.
* You will need your student’s DPS ID# to start your account. You can call Edison’s office at 720-424-7780 or email Michelle Miller in the office at michelle_miller@dpsk12.org, or Barbara Schrant at maria_schrant@dpsk12.org, to get your student’s ID#.
* If you forgot your password click on the forgot password link.
* If you have any other trouble logging in (you must log in at least once every six months to keep your account active), you can ask for help by emailing portalteam@dpsk12.org or calling the portal hotline at 720.423.3163.
* Only the parents in the primary household can do registration.
Kindergarten Assessment Day: All kindergarten students will need to sign up for an individual assessment which will take place on August 22. After receiving your student’s teacher’s name on the Parent Portal in July/August, please sign up for an assessment/meet the teacher appointment at the appropriate sign up genius link below:

Discovery Link Registration: Registration for before & after school care with Discovery Link for the 2022-2023 School Year opened in April for all families on a first come, first served basis.

Sign up for MySchoolBucks: We encourage all guardians to sign up for https://www.myschoolbucks.com through the Parent Portal. This gives caretakers the ability to pay for school lunches, field trips and school fees on-line with a credit card.
Complete Meal Benefits Application: All families are strongly encouraged to complete a Meal Benefits Application online (even if you do not qualify). You can do this through https://www.myschoolapps.com/Application.
Complete the Volunteer Application: If you wish to volunteer for Edison this school year (with the PTA, attending a field trip, in the classroom), please make sure you complete the volunteer application. Approvals are good for one calendar year (they expire exactly one year after approval); you must reapply every year.

Medication for School form: If your student needs to keep medication at school you will need to pick up a new form to be filled out by a parent and physician. These will be available in the Edison office throughout the school year or you can email Michelle (michelle_miller@dpsk12.org ) or Barbara Schrant at ( maria_schrant@dpsk12.org ) to email you a copy.
Sign up for Greet and Get: Parents (for 1st-5th grade students only) wishing to use the Greet and Get lane after school will need to fill out a Google Form and inform their student’s teacher so that the teacher will know to send the child to the Greet and Get pick up area at 3:25 PM.
