Eagle Run – September 23 – During the school day
Mark your calendar for Edison’s 7th annual Eagle Run run-a-thon fundraiser to take place during school on September 23rd. Our goal this year is to raise $100,000. Pledge sheets were sent home a few weeks ago. Encourage your student to collect pledges, set a goal, run…and HAVE FUN! Please send your child to school with a water bottle, running shoes and athletic wear on September 23rd.
This year the whole student body will celebrate the fundraising WINS. Once we hit a threshold as a school, the students will celebrate their amazing success. You may notice some thermometers around the school, as that dial goes up, prizes will be distributed to the whole school. We have currently raised $2,000! We need $8,000 to get to our first prize!
* $10,000 the WHOLE school will get a Pajama Day!
* $25,000 the WHOLE school will celebrate with donuts!
* Stay tuned for more information on the exciting prizes/experiences as we unlock higher fundraising goals.

Want to come cheer? Below are the run times for each class. Running times:
* 5th grade – 9:05-9:35
* 4th grade – 9:45-10:15
* ECE: 10:30-10:45
* 3rd grade: 11:10-11:40
* 1st grade: 1:25-1:55
* kindergarten: 2:05 – 2:25
* 2nd grade: 2:45 – 3:15
A friendly reminder that only Edison staff and students are allowed to run. The track is small and cannot accommodate guardians running during Eagle Run. Thank you for your cooperation.
**El Camino Tavern will be on site with the El Camino Taco Truck providing yummy eats for the Edison community from 12pm-3pm on September 23rd. $5 for 2 tacos or $10 for 4. All the proceeds go to Eagle Run! Get your venmo ready and order some great tacos while you cheer on Edison students. Taco options: Chicken, pork or veggie
North HS Homecoming Parade
Come join us in the North HS Homecoming Parade Friday, September 23, 2022! We’ll meet at the corner of Perry and 32nd, NE corner at 4:00 p.m. to decorate bikes and get ready for the fun to begin! We will have some treats to be tossed out to the crowd. Wear your Edison best and support the community! We look forward to seeing you there and showing our Eagles pride!

Our neighborhood streets quickly fill up before and after school. PLEASE be aware of:

* not parking in crosswalks, driveways, alleyways or school parking lot

Community Information
The Ski Passport Program – The Colorado Ski Country Ski Passport program provides 3rd – 6th grade students the ability to access member ski areas and experience all that Colorado’s resorts have to offer at an unbeatable price. https://www.coloradoski.com/passport
Girls Inc. of Metro Denver is currently enrolling girls in 1st – 8th grades for after-school programming. Fees are income-based sliding scale. Programs are Monday – Friday 3:00-6:30pm.
