School lunch menus can be found at: www.schoolcafe.com/dps. Then you can log in as a guest or create an account. Breakfast is free for all students. For students who do not receive free/reduced meals, elementary lunch price is $2.60 and milk only is $0.75

Please join us this Saturday, August 27 at 8:00 PM on Edison’s field for our PTA sponsored Outdoor Movie Night – Movie: The Book of Life.
Coming Soon – Eagle Run
Mark your calendar for Edison’s 7th annual Eagle Run run-a-thon fundraiser to take place during school on September 23rd. This exciting fundraiser will focus on team-building, health, fitness and reaching personal goals. All Edison students are encouraged to participate, set-goals, cheer-on their classmates and run as many 1/8 mile laps as they can during the run. Students are also encouraged to get as many pledges as they can to help us all reach our goals! Our goal this year is to raise $80,000. Pledge sheets will be sent home next week in Thursday folders. Encourage your student to collect pledges, set a goal, run…and HAVE FUN!
Community Information
Girls Inc. of Metro Denver is currently enrolling girls in 1st – 8th grades for after-school programming. Fees are income-based sliding scale. Programs are Monday – Friday 3:00-6:30pm. Complete the Volunteer Application: If you wish to volunteer for Edison this school year (with the PTA, attending a field trip, in the classroom), please make sure you complete the volunteer application. Approvals are good for one calendar year (they expire exactly one year after approval); you must reapply every year.

Medication for School form: If your student needs to keep medication at school you will need to pick up a new form to be filled out by a parent and physician. These will be available in the Edison office throughout the school year or you can email Michelle (michelle_miller@dpsk12.org ) or Barbara Schrant at ( maria_schrant@dpsk12.org ) to email you a copy.
Sign up for Greet and Get: Parents (for 1st-5th grade students only) wishing to use the Greet and Get lane after school will need to fill out a Google Form and inform their student’s teacher so that the teacher will know to send the child to the Greet and Get pick up area at 3:25 PM.
