Please join us on May 13 at Hops and Pie from 6:00-10:00 PM for our annual adults on EdFest auction and party! EdFest raises money for the PTA general fund which raised over $55,000 last year. The PTA general fund provides Edison with funds to pay for: money for teacher accounts, online subscriptions, enrichment day, field trip transportation, Edison t-shirts for new students, community events, after school tutoring, enrichment scholarships, teacher appreciation and much more!

Scholastic Book Fair
Edison will have its buy one book, get one book free fair from Wednesday, May 10 until Friday, May 12th in the auditorium. This fair will be BUY ONE, GET ONE FREE! The book fair will be open:
* Wednesday, May 10: 7:30 – 8:30 and 3:30 – 4:30
* Thursday, May 11: 7:30 – 8:30 and 3:30 – 4:30
* Friday, May 12: 8:00 – 4:00 (Stop by during Field Day!)

Field Day
Hope you are all getting excited for Field Day which will take place on May 12. Please join us for a fun day of competition! 40 yard dash, water balloon toss, tug-o-peace, sneaker kick, potato sack race, jump rope contest/egg race, high jump, 3 legged race, long jump!

* 1:15-3:20 PM – ECE, 1st grade, 3rd grade, 5th grade
Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast
Have you supported Edison this year – by volunteering in the classroom, acting as a room parent, supporting with a field trip, organizing a community event, or participating in the PTA or CSC? If so, please join us at Edison’s annual Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast in Edison’s auditorium on Friday, May 19 at 7:45 – 8:20 AM.
Audition for the annual Edison Talent Show…3rd-5th graders only
Our annual Talent Show is scheduled for Wednesday, May 31. All 3rd-5th graders are invited to audition for the Talent Show. If you’d like to audition, please plan on the following:
* Your presentation is 2 minutes or less.
* You are confident, and can perform it without help from others.
* You provide your own music or mp3 files.
* You provide your own instrument, if it’s something that we don’t have in the music room.

Order School Supplies for 2023-24 NOW!
Did you know that you can order school supplies from the PTA now and be all prepared for the 2023-24 school year? If you order online, through the PTA:
* the teacher gets the exact supplies they want,
* the teachers have time to organize the supplies before the students arrive,
*there are fewer issues in the classroom since the students will have all the same supplies,
* and you don’t have to do ANYTHING past clicking a few buttons!
The supplies will be shipped directly to Edison the week before school starts. Volunteers will deliver your students’ supply pack directly to their teacher! Edison makes about $3 a pack, which is not a lot, but it helps contribute to the PTA Fund. And yes, the supply list has been double-checked! To order supplies:
