Remote Learning
3rd, 4th and 5th grade students will be learning remotely (no in-person learning) from November 2 through November 20.
ECE, kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade students who chose in person learning will continue to attend school in person.
The school start time each day will be at 9:00 AM for all students. We do understand that there is the possibility that parents will be dropping off ECE-2nd grade siblings which may cause 3rd-5th grade students to join morning meetings a little late each day. Please know that this is fine and will not negatively impact students. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility during this difficult time.

Get and Greet – AND Parking/Traffic support
We are welcoming parents to pick up their students after school again this year in our Get and Greet lane located on the northwest side of Perry Street, by the playground/community garden. If you have not signed up for this, please ask your teacher for the sign up link.
We REALLY need parents to support us in keeping our students safe before and after school. Please do NOT park on the West side of Perry Street or the East side of Quitman Street during the following hours: 8:30-9:15 or 2:30-3:15. We welcome parents to drive up, stay in their cars and drop off or pick up students in these areas, but NOT park and get out of their cars. Additionally, please only drop off students on the school side of the street – not in the middle of the street. We have already had one car accident, so we really need people to drive safely. THANK YOU.
In need of Clorox Wipes
Edison appears to be going through Clorox Wipes like water…If you are able to donate more of these, we would greatly appreciate it. Please bring them to the school office or send them with your child to school. THANK YOU!
Attendance
Please call the school attendance line at 720-424-7784 any time your child is absent from school. Please expect to get a call from Edison’s office if your child is absent and we have not received a call.
If you report that your child is sick, please expect to get a phone call from our school nurse providing guidance on our health policies and precautions.
If your child is staying home as a health precaution or due to a COVID quarantine/exposure, please know that they should attend school virtually. Please reach out to your child’s teacher regarding how to do this.
