CMAS testing
3rd graders will be CMAS testing April 8-April 15 in the morning.
4th graders will be CMAS testing April 11-18 in the morning.
5th graders will be CMAS testing April 81-18 in the morning.
Please support your 3rd-5th graders by having them get to school on time, making sure they had a good night sleep and encouraging them to do their best on testing.

GOES Eco-Health Fair
Please join us for our annual Eco-Health Fair “G.O.E.S.” (Get Outdoors and Eat Smart) on Friday, April 19 from 3:45 – 4:30 PM on Edison’s playground.
Students and their families will learn about how to take care of our environment and our bodies. Everyone is welcome to attend this FREE event.
Mark your calendars – Edfest
Edison’s annual ‘Edfest Underground’, Edison’s annual adult only fundraiser and community celebration, is scheduled for Saturday, May 4 at 7:00-11:00 PM at the Elk’s Club at 2475 W. 26th Ave. in Denver. All parents and community member are invited! EdFest Underground ticket access is now open. This year, entrance to the event is FREE with the secret password (Passwordis “Speakeagle”). https://www.accelevents.com/e/EdFest

FAMILY LIASION – We will be hiring a Family Liasion for next school year, thanks to a grant from the PTA. This person will work 10 hours per week coordinating parent volunteers, organizing community events, and helping with communication to the community. INTERVENTION PARAPROFESSIONALS – We are looking for 3 intervention paraprofessionals to support students and teacher in grades 1-5, thanks to a grant fromthe PTA. If you are interested, apply on DPS’s job board and send an emal to Sally_Whitelock@dpsk12.org
HEALTH CLINIC PARAPROFESSIONAL – We are looking for a 20 hour per week (3 days) paraprofessional to support students in the health clinic at Edison.If you are interested, apply on DPS’s job board and send an emal to Sally_Whitelock@dpsk12.org
CSC MEMBERS – We are looking for two parent volunteers interested inbecoming CSC members next year. If you are interested (or would like to nominate someone), please complete the attached CSC nomination form and/or email/bring the form to Sally Whitelock at Edison (Sally_Whitelock@dpsk12.org)
PTA BOARD AND CHAIRPERSONS – We are in great need of parent volunteerst to support our PTA next year. If you are interested in a PTA board/chairperson role for next year, please see the attached application or come to our May PTA meeting on May 2 at Edison at 6:00 PM and get involved!
