The Spring class picture day is scheduled for Monday, March 9.
Passions Day Parent Information Meeting
is scheduled for Friday, March 13 at 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM in the auditorium at Edison. THANK YOU to all the parents and community members who have signed up to share their passion on March 27 – We had more volunteers this year than ever before!
Mark your calendars for Culture Night
Please join us from 5:30-7:00 PM on Thursday, March 26 to celebrate our wonderful, diverse Edison community. Please begin thinking about a potluck food item that is important to your family tradition or culture to bring to the event. Edison families will have an opportunity to sample food from the potluck, enjoy a culture get-to-know-you game and view the Mizel Museum in the auditorium. Students will perform dances in the gym. Lastly, we hope families enjoy the ‘culture museum’ in the hallways.
The Green Team’s Crayon Initiative
“Did you know that over 3 billion crayons are produced annually, and almost none of them are conventionally recyclable? To reduce this waste, Edison’s Green Team is launching a partnership with the Crayon Initiative to collect your tired-out crayons and re-purpose them for use in Children’s hospital art programs. Just drop your old crayons in the collection box outside the art room, and the Green Team will see that they get donated to help sick kids.
