5th Grade Open House Art Exhibitions at New York Pizza pub on 35th and Tennyson
Ms. Davis’ class will have their art exhibition on Wednesday, December 16 at 6:00-7:00 PM at Chipolte.
Ms. Swift’s class will have their art exhibition on Tuesday, December 17 at 6:00-7:00 PM at Chipolte.
Glee Club filming for Channel 31
Edison’s Glee Club will be filmed by Channel 31 on Tuesday, December 17 at 8:00 AM in Edison’s auditorium.
Balarat Field Trip
for Ms. Beeby’s class (AM) and Ms. Lovato’s class (PM) on Wednesday, December 18.
Read-a-thon Kick-off and PJ Day
Students are encouraged to wear their PJs to school on Friday, December 20. We will kick-off our Read-a-thon with a fun day of reading.
Read-a-thon
We would like to encourage students to let relatives and family members know about the Read-a-thon and that they will be reading over Winter Break. Sponsors can pledge a flat amount or by-the-minute.

Kids will set Read-a-thon reading goals at school during library. Students will then read over Winter Break and return Reading Logs the week of January 7 in order to be eligible for raffle prizes (entries based on number of minutes read). Our goal is to raise $10,000 for Literacy Supplies for Edison (independent reading books, guided reading books, curriculum materials, and digital literacy materials)
