4th & 5th Grade Beginning Band!

We are happy to announce that a beginning band program is now available to Edison 4th and 5th grade students offering whole group instruction and section work on instruments. Registration is open at www.edisonextra.com. Sessions begin on Thursday October 17th and will occur once a week on Thursdays in the auditorium through May 16, 2014. In the event that there is a conflict with other events in the auditorium we will use the music room. Edison has some band instruments and the district has some instruments as well. Students will have the opportunity to try each of the instruments they would like to play. There is no charge for students using school instruments and we have reached out to Flesher-Hinton Music Company (on Tennyson) to arrange for students, who wish to do so, to rent an instrument.
