Dear Edison PTA and other School Supporters:
On Saturday August 17th Highlands Square/Highlands Merchants Association will host a new event called Taste of Highlands. This event will feature premium tastes from 12 of our local restaurants and specialty shops and include a Beer & Wine Garden, live music and prize drawings.
We have selected Edison and Brown, our neighborhood elementary schools, as the event beneficiaries and hope to be making a helpful contribution to your schools after this great community event.
This Saturday (6.15.13) we need an Event Promo Team to help get the word out about this new event during Street Fair. We are looking for 10-12 volunteers to help distribute postcards and stickers. The commitment is for 3-hours, either 930-1230 OR 1230 – 330. Each volunteer will receive a Taste of Highlands event ticket and event t-shirt (value $30) for helping out! Please help us spread the word and recruit helpers.
