Crayola Cares
If you’re cleaning out old art supplies in advance of holiday craft gift-giving, don’t trash those markers–recycle them! Edison is re-launching its partnership with Crayola Cares and will be recycling any and all markers and shipping them back to Crayola on a monthly basis beginning in January. Please start gathering up any old markers of any variety–they don’t have to be Crayola made–and drop them off on the second Monday of every month in the designated box outside the art room. Edison’s Green Team will then ship them back to Crayola to be re-purposed into new markers. The next drop-off date will be January 13 and we’ll send reminders the week before the next collection date. We look forward to saving your tired, old markers from the landfill!
Volunteers Needed:
  • If you would like to volunteer to support EdFest, our annual spring auction that is an adults only event, please reach out to Valerie Recore, PTA Vice President at edisonvpdenver@gmail.com.
