Edison Scholastic BOGO Book Fair- May 11-May 13
Edison will have its buy one book, get one book free fair from Wednesday, May 11 until Friday, May 13th. The Fair will be open in the Auditorium from 7:45 – 8:25 on Wednesday and Thursday and after school from 3:30 – 4:00. The Fair will be open all day on Friday during field day.

Edison Field Day – May 13 – REQUIRED Waiver

We will be bringing back Ninja Warrior this year, however, children will need to have a waiver signed by their guardian in order to participate. Please complete the online waver before May 13. Additionally, students should wear closed toed shoes on field day so that they can safely participate in Ninja Warrior.

EDFEST 2022
Please join us on May 14th at Local 46 from 6:00-10:00 PM for our annual Edfest. It is a Colorado Plus is the theme! Edison’s Adult-only Fundraising party will be the event of the year. Come dressed in your colorado gear (crocs, ski goggles, fly fishing pants, colorado trucker hat, etc). All donations go to help the Edison PTA general fund.

Talent Show try-outs
Our talent show is happening on June 1 this year. If you are a 3rd, 4th or 5th grader who is interested in participating, please sign up on Mrs. O’Lane’s Google classroom page. The code for joining is nv5q2jb. Once you’ve joined, please upload a video of your talent. This video should be a good representation of what you plan to do, and must be 2 minutes or less. The due date is Monday, May 16.

DPS Your Voice/Tu Coz Family Survey
You should have received an email with the DPS Your Voice/Tu Voz Family Survey link. If you haven’t already, we ask that you please take a few minutes of your time today to complete the survey. The last day to complete the survey is May 13. This survey asks you to reflect on your experience at DPS, and let us know what went well and what we can improve in the future. Summer of Sora: Free eBook/audiobook access and contest
Summer of Sora is the DPS summer reading program to encourage students to enjoy our digital library of over 35,000 eBooks and audiobooks, all summer long. Beginning June 6 and extending for 10 weeks through Aug. 12, every Sora eBook or audiobook checkout is a chance for students to win prizes. Each week, 10 students will win an Under Armour sackpack and book, for a total of 100 winners with three grand prize winners receiving Kindle e-readers!
