PTA Recap

It’s the last week of school, Edison Families!

As I leave the presidency, I wanted to thank you all for your contributions to what was a fantastic year for Edison’s PTA. We doubled our previous all time high for paid PTA members and had 52 committee leaders make this year noteworthy. With the exception of a few cold winter evening meetings, we had at least two dozen members at each lively PTA meeting. Many of us didn’t know each other in the beginning, but I’ve learned to respect and depend on our valuable community. We were all there to help our kids.
As the news hits that we brought in record setting funds, I wanted to make sure you are all aware of the significant contributions PTA has made to the school, with your help! Where did this money go? Below is a list of the main areas of spending.
  • Classroom Funds
  • RIF Books
  • Technology (6 ipads & 31 Chromebooks)
