Edison G.O.E.S.

When’s the last time you raced your friends on stilts? Yes, we thought so. How do you feel about art projects involving recycled materials? Curious about gardening? Have a hankering for an afternoon smoothie?

This Friday (April 21), join the Edison Green Team and all the parents and students you’ve grown to know and live at the first annual Edison G.O.E.S. (Get Outside Eat Smart). The fun starts right after school at 3:30pm on the playground, and everyone is welcome! (Note that if weather doesn’t cooperate, a rain date is set for April 28.)

In addition to smoothies and stilt races, Edison G.O.E.S. features a creation station for recycled art projects, a gardening demonstration by Denver Urban Gardens and even a dancing lesson!

Special community guests include police officers, fire fighters, and the North High School Drumline. Don’t miss out!

Plan to stick around after school to check out the fun – and if you can, please sign up to volunteer – it’ll be a fun event!
