Happy Fall Festival!

This Friday (Oct. 20) is Edison’s annual Fall Festival, and we hope you all can stick around after school with your kids and join the fun!

What is Fall Festival? It’s a fun fall-themed event full of games, food, and costumes (kids can wear them…and if you like, so can you). After school, the Edison playground will be filled with teachers and students running unique activities designed to raise money for their classrooms.

Admission to the festival is free, but individual classroom-sponsored activities require tickets ($1 each). Tickets will be sold at the event, and all proceeds go back to that teacher’s classroom (so please support your child’s class!).

There is also a silent auction with some cool prizes, so make sure you check these out!

In addition, the 4th grade classes contribute by running the concession stand and holding a bake sale, with all their proceeds helping fund the 4th grade overnight field trip in the spring.

The Green Team will be running a Farm Stand this year, too.

Note that we can still use volunteers to help run things (especially clean-up, which to be honest is not that hard and goes quickly).
