The Eagle Run Is Sept. 23 – Schedule and Volunteers

We need volunteers for the first annual Edison Eagle Run! The event takes place during the school day this Friday, Sept. 23 (schedule below).

If you have even a small amount of time that day, please consider signing up to help tally our runners’ laps, hand-out popsicles, and help ensure the event runs smoothly and our children have fun. We need parent volunteers to help make this event a success!

All parents received a schedule for the Eagle Run in the Thursday folders. The run takes place in the field on the south side of the school, and the schedule is broken down by grade:

Eagle Run schedule

8:50am: 5th grade
9:35am: 4th grade
10:20am: ECE
11am: 3rd grade

1:20pm: 1st grade
2:05pm: Kindergarten
2:40pm: 2nd grade

Kids need to wear their Edison T-shirts and bring a water bottle.

Remember, this is a major fundraiser for the school, and we need our kids to continue to earn pledges. If every child raised $20 we would meet our goal. The top 3 student fundraisers will win and Apple iPod! Note that pledge sheets are not due until Oct. 7. (Alternately, you can make an online donation if you wish.)
